The long temperature retention is useful when you eat your meal several hours after packing it.

The food jar is made from 18/8 stainless steel, and vacuum insulation between the walls keeps food hot for up to 15 hours and cold for up to 18 hours. The stated times apply to a full, tightly closed jar. For best results, warm the inside with hot water for about 5 minutes before filling it with a hot meal. The food jar is dishwasher-safe.
