On Cloudvista – a light shoe for the trail
On describes the Cloudvista as one of its most versatile trail running shoes. It handles different surfaces: forest paths, gravel and park trails. The grippy Missiongrip™ outsole and understated colours also make the Cloudvista a good choice for hikes and everyday wear outside the city.
Cloudvista 2 or Cloudvista 3?
- Cloudvista 2 – a higher sole with a pronounced rocker, a two-pronged Speedboard® plate and soft Helion™ foam. Missiongrip™ tread with larger lugs. 6 mm drop.
- Cloudvista 3 – the newer generation for shorter, everyday trail runs, according to On for distances up to 40 km. CloudTec®, Helion™ foam for stability and a quick-drying, abrasion-resistant upper. 5 mm drop, approx. 298 g (men's shoe).
- Waterproof versions – the Cloudvista 2 Waterproof and Cloudvista 3 Waterproof have a waterproof membrane, for rain, mud and wet grass. The Cloudvista 3 Waterproof weighs approx. 328 g (men's shoe).

Sizing
On shoes fit like Nike and New Balance – choose the same size. In larger sizes, compare the insole length (CM tab) with the shoes you wear.
FAQ
Do On shoes need breaking in?
No. In our experience, On shoes fit right from the start and you can wear them all day.
Is the Cloudvista good for everyday wear?
Yes, especially outside the city and on hikes. On asphalt it works for shorter distances – it is above all an off-road shoe.
Cloudvista or Cloudhorizon?
The Cloudvista is lighter and was made for trail running. The Cloudhorizon is a hiking shoe, with a sole designed for walking on the trail.
Is the Cloudvista waterproof?
Only the Waterproof versions have a membrane. The regular Cloudvista 3 has a quick-drying upper, but it is not waterproof.
