A sandal differs from a flip-flop in one respect: it also supports the foot at the back, so you can walk more confidently and for longer in them. Our range includes leather sandals from Dr. Martens – including platform and gladiator styles – hand-woven Bohonomad sandals in a Mediterranean style, and summer styles from UGG. Dr. Martens – leather sandals

Explore Dr. Martens sandals with substantial soles, wide straps and different buckle arrangements. Blaire, Voss and Gryphon offer different silhouettes, while platform versions make a stronger statement. Bohonomad and the Mediterranean style

Bohonomad are hand-woven sandals made from natural leather, designed in the Greek and Turkish styles – Bodrum, Roma, Hawaii, Cape. The soft leather and flat sole mean they don’t need breaking in, and the muted colours go well with summer dresses and linen trousers.

How to choose sandals

Your foot should fit within the outline of the sole, without your toes or heel extending beyond the edge. Leather straps can be stretched by a fraction of a size, whilst braided straps cannot be stretched at all – in this case, it’s best to stick to your usual size. If you walk a lot, pay attention to the width of the strap across the instep: the wider it is, the less it rubs.
