Girls’ shoes at RunColors
This category brings together styles in colours and designs more commonly chosen for girls – though there’s no strict division: most children’s shoes are unisex and differ only in colour. Here you’ll find sneakers from New Balance, Nike and Air Jordan, adidas classics, and Reima’s technical, waterproof styles. Sizes cover the full range for children, from the smallest sizes up to size 36 and above.
Everyday sneakers
New Balance models from the 327, 574 and 9060 ranges, as well as Nike Air and Air Jordan children’s versions, are sneakers that stand up well to everyday wear and look just like the adult models. Some come with Velcro fastenings, which really do make mornings easier with younger children.
Reima – for rain, mud and snow
The Finnish brand Reima is our go-to choice when it comes to the weather. The models in the Tec range feature a membrane and taped seams, whilst the Hallava range comprises lighter transitional shoes. They all have a flexible sole and a wide toe box that doesn’t squeeze the toes.
How to choose the right size
The easiest way is to measure your foot in the evening and compare it with the insole measurement specified for each product. A 8–12 mm allowance at the toes is standard – a larger allowance does not extend the life of the shoes, but simply disrupts your gait. If you’re unsure which size to choose, please contact us before placing your order.
