This is the largest category amongst our accessories. The core of the range is made up of the American brands 47 Brand and American Needle – brands licensed by the MLB, NBA and NHL leagues, meaning you’ll find original team logos here, including the most sought-after New York caps. The range is complemented by understated sports and outdoor styles from On and Fjällräven.

47 Brand and American Needle

Both brands produce caps under licence from professional leagues, so the logos are original rather than inspired by them. 47 Brand is best known for its ‘Clean Up’ model – a soft, unstructured cap with a curved peak and a strap fastening. American Needle leans more towards a retro style: vintage logos, faded colours and finishes in the spirit of the 80s and 90s.

Styles: Clean Up, Snapback, 5-panel

The Clean Up and similar non-stiffened models mould to the head and look relaxed from day one. The snapback has a stiffened front, a flat peak and a snap-fastening adjustment – it retains a stiffer, more defined shape. 5-panel caps are the shallowest and lightest, with a style reminiscent of outdoor and cycling wear.

Adjustment and fitting

A strap with a buckle offers the most precise adjustment; snap fasteners are quicker, but only allow for adjustments in fixed increments. Fitted caps, which aren’t adjustable, are chosen based on head circumference – they stay on best, but there’s no room for error when it comes to size. With adjustable models, head circumference usually doesn’t matter, provided you don’t go beyond the typical range.

Care

Wash baseball caps by hand only, in lukewarm water – a washing machine will distort the peak and the stiffening at the front. Dry it by placing it over something round so that it retains its shape. For woollen and felt models, keep contact with water to a minimum and clean them with a brush.
