The Kånken was created in 1978 for Swedish schoolchildren and has changed little since. Light Fossil beige is neutral and easy-going, and the red fox logo stands out nicely against it.

The backpack is made of hard-wearing, lightweight Vinylon F that stands up to dirt and wetness. The roomy main compartment has a large zipped opening, there is a zippered pocket on the front and two flat side pockets. The foam pad in the inside pocket keeps the contents from poking your back and comes in handy when you need to sit down.
