Elphie is the Dr. Martens answer to the classic ballet flat: less delicate, more Docs. The pointed toe, a single strap fastened with a logo buckle and a slim silhouette mean it works with dresses as well as wide-leg trousers.

The upper is cut from black Virginia leather – soft, with a fine grain, and flexible straight out of the box, so it needs no lengthy breaking in. The tapered sole has the distinctive Dr. Martens grooving and is joined to the upper with yellow stitching.
