Black and graphite New Balance 9060 sneakers – mesh, sculpted sole and ABZORB
The black and graphite 9060 combines a bold shape with a practical, easy-care colour. Two shades of dark grey highlight the layers of the upper and the wavy lines of the sole.
The model draws on the 99X line and the futuristic Y2K aesthetic. The upper is made of mesh and synthetic materials, and side stabilisers run along its full length. The dual-density sole combines ABZORB with ABZORB SBS, and underneath you will find a diamond tread.

Frequently asked questions
What does the ABZORB and ABZORB SBS sole do?
It is a dual-density midsole: ABZORB provides the cushioning, while ABZORB SBS adds extra cushioning in the heel.
What inspired the look of the 9060?
The model reinterprets elements of the 99X line through a Y2K aesthetic: side stabilisers, wavy lines and a sculpted sole. The diamond tread comes from the 860, and the tongue logo references the decorative lacing piece of the 991.
What is the upper made of?
The upper is made of mesh and synthetic materials, and the side stabilisers give it its characteristic layered shape.
