#500 is the model on which Blundstone built the Originals series – a 1969 design that still looks almost the same today: a simple upper, elastic sides and two pull tabs for easy slipping on. This pair is the Stout Brown colourway, a deep, warm brown with elastic sides in the same shade.

The upper is cut from a single piece of thick, water-resistant premium leather, unlined, so the boot breathes better. At first it holds the foot quite snugly at the instep and toes, but over time the leather softens and moulds to the foot. The sole features the SPS Max Comfort system, which absorbs shock, and a steel shank adds stability.

Key features

  • Water-resistant premium leather, unlined
  • Elastic sides and pull tabs for slipping on
  • TPU outer sole and cushioning midsole
  • Shock-absorbing SPS Max Comfort system
  • Removable footbed, steel shank
  • Fit: true to size; for wider feet Blundstone recommends going a size up
