Dainty Mary Jane is a Chuck Taylor All Star that sits closer to a ballet flat than a classic trainer. Instead of laces it has two straps fastened with metal buckles, and the low-cut upper shows off the foot just like a Mary Jane shoe.

Black canvas is paired with a white rubber toe cap and a white sole with two black stripes – details that instantly mark it out as a Chuck. The pair looks great with white socks and a pleated skirt, but works just as naturally with straight jeans with a rolled hem or linen trousers in summer.
